Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has another reason to impress his lady love Anushka Sharma, Bollywood star and a constant companion to Kohli. Kohli has taken delivery of a limited edition Audi R8 LMX. The keys to the hot looking car were handed over to him by Joe King, Head, Audi India.
King said he was thrilled to welcome Virat into the Audi Family. On his part, Kohli said, “I am delighted with my new limited edition super sports car Audi R8 LMX. I am especially proud and excited to be one of only 99 owners of this special car. I have always loved automobiles and have been an admirer of Audi. I already own an Audi R8 and Audi Q7. I am looking forward to some exciting drives with this new machine.” Now we know who will be accompanying him on these exciting drives!
The most powerful Audi ever, the Audi R8 LMX produces 570 hp. The compact, seven-speed S tronic transfers the power to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The fastest Audi R8 ever, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 320 km/h. The sad part is that that he will not be able to touch that speed on any Indian road because speed limits are just about 100 to 120 km per hour on some of the best highways. Then Kohli has to make sure he does not hit cows, jaywalkers or anyone else while driving. He can try his driving skills on a race track for sure.
The nights are definitely going to be more romantic and illuminated for Kohli. The laser high beam lighting increases range and safety, offering illumination range upto 500 metres. At Motown India we wish our cricketer human being a safe drive...with his seat belts on!
