The 5th leg of
Maruti Suzuki National Super League TSD Rally Championship 2016(MS-NStrdRC) –
Rally of Arunachal concluded in Dambuk with Jagmeet Gill and Chandan Sen
emerging as champions. The duo was driving a Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Covering a
distance of over 700kms from Itanagar to Dambuk, the rally saw over 40
participants competing for the coveted title.
The ceremony was graced by the
Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu at the Orange festival, Dambuk.
The Maruti Suzuki National Super League TSD Rally Championship is yet another
feather in the cap for Maruti Suzuki motorsports in India. With signature cross
country rallies like Raid de Himalaya, Desert Storm and Dakshin Dare, Maruti
Suzuki aims at taking motorsports to the next level with MS-NStrdRC. It is a
small format TSD rally championship (3 days rally), especially designed to
encourage more and more young and new motorsports enthusiasts.

Commenting on the occasion,

North East India was chosen for any Maruti Suzuki motorsports activity and we

excitement of the participants.”
