Four days into the competition and the fight seems to be getting fiercer at the ninth edition of India’s toughest and biggest off-road motorsport event. As per the provisional results on completion of SS 13 to 16 of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) India 2023, Cedric Jordan DaSilva and co-driver Mackwin Dias from Goa have once again risen to the top of the ranking table with 1248 points out of 1600.
Dr Mohammed Fahed VP (co-driver Rajeev Lal) from Kerala, who was at the top position for the last two days, has gone down one spot to claim the second position with 1199 points. Anand V Manjooran (Chethan Chengappa), also from Kerala, has maintained his third position and he is giving a tough fight to Anand with 1195 points.
Dr. Chaitanya Challa (Hamdaan Khan) from Hyderabad has climbed up one position to take the fourth spot with 1157 points while Eric Benny (Siraj) has gone down one position and ended Day 4 of RFC India 2023 at the fifth position with 1121 points.
On Day 5, the competitors will enter the Twilight Zone of RFC India 2023, where they will be undertaking 3 Special Stages (SS 17 – SS 19) of 100 points each. Traditionally, the Twilight Zone is considered to be the most difficult segment of RFC India as it tests the competitors’ off-roading skills and team spirit under extreme conditions.
