With
hygiene and social distancing being the new norms during this covid pandemic
season, Home-Mechanic, a provider of
doorstep servicing for automobiles in the National Capital Region (NCR), has
launched a new service ‘Home-Mechanic
IND’ that would go a long way in bringing relief to those who want to
get their cars serviced at their doorstep.
To
make the experience of car repairs and routine service easier, Home-Mechanic in
association with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has launched “Home–Mechanic IND”
powered by Servo. The first van was inaugurated by Shyam Bohra, Executive
Director, Delhi & Haryana State Office, IOCL at Company Owned Company
Operated (COCO) Retail Outlet in New Delhi on a pilot basis.
Vehicle
owners in Delhi can now get their vehicles serviced at their door steps with
complete transparency and can avail over 300 types of services with state of
arts tools and technology.
The
Home-Mechanic IND van is capable of providing services irrespective of the
vehicle brand, model and make through tech enabled Mech-Mobile akin to a
workshop on wheels (WoW) using special tools, diagnostic equipment, and
fast-moving spare parts, seven days a week.
The
service van will also carry Indian Oil’s Super brand lubricants Servo which has
over 500 patented formulae and over 300 running grades which covers the
lubricating needs for the smallest of the moving parts to the heaviest of the
equipment.
Once
the customer books an appointment, they will receive a call for better
understanding pertaining to the type of service they are looking for. Based on
the vehicle description and the problem, a 3-member technician team will visit
the customer’s home and completes the job on-site. All safety precautions are
taken and there is no physical contact with the customer. Home-Mechanic IND
also offers basic to advanced packages for routine servicing, smoke sanitising
protection from COVID-19 and waterless car washing and polishing.
