Old beauties are gearing up to
show their best sides, as the 21 Gun Salute International Vintage Car Rally
& Concours Show will commence on February 17, 2017 at India Gate in New
Delhi. This magnificent vintage car rally of country poised to be on Global
Vintage Rallies map is geared to create a weekend of nostalgia and excitement.
The previous editions of this
show drew worldwide participation and enthusiasm. The current 7th edition of 21
Gun Salute International Vintage Car Rally & Concours plans for a royal
rendezvous with hand -picked, rare & premium – Vintage & Classic,
Indian & International cars and motorcycles with major participation from
USA, France, Germany, Italy & U.K.
The audience will also
experience the classic & vintage car -race on Sunday February 19 at the
Buddh International F1 Track in Greater Noida.

21 Gun Salute Heritage & Cultural Trust said “The 7th edition of vintage
car rally will be organised at a much larger scale and is expected to have more
eye balls than the previous editions owing to the enthusiastic and stylish
atmosphere. With nearly 100 hand-picked vintage & classic cars from India,
Germany, France, US, Italy & UK, this year’s rally will be grander than the
previous editions. The vision of the event is to place India as a world-class
global motoring tourism destination!”
Besides, showcasing the rich
automotive heritage to the world, the rally takes up a social cause every year.
Previous editions have supported for example the welfare of spastic and blind
children, ‘Save the Girl Child’ etc. Keeping with this tradition, the 7th
edition will support the welfare of spastic children.
The name ‘21 Gun Salute’ is
derived from a formal hierarchical system of Imperial Salute. The concept of 21
Gun Salute is based on prosperity & Dignity in the eyes of sovereign and it
was the highest level of Honour to five Princely states i.e. Hyderabad, Mysore, Jammu & Kashmir,
Baroda and Gwalior
