Polaris India has inaugurated their 3rd Polaris Experience Zone (PEZ) in Haryana. The PEZ is located in the Divine City Township of Gannaur in Sonipat. The other PEZs in the Haryana region are located in Dharuhera and Faridabad.
The PEZ is spread across 3 acres of land with a restaurant which can house upto 50 people. An ideal place for families that want to get out in the open and not follow the traditional outdoor entertainment most people seek.
This particular Experience Zone is not one of Polaris’ all out place for adventure junkies, but it’s a perfect place for a family to spend quality time with each other. The zone has their entire Youth range of Quadbikes or ATVs. The “Outlaw 90” a 90cc Quadbike for kids aged 6 and above, the “Sportsman 90” 90cc ATV for ages 10+ and the “Phoenix 200” a more powerful 200cc Quad that is targeted for the Youth and also is perfect for full grown adults who also want to get a taste of off-roading.
The dirt track around the compound includes slush patches, tight hairpin turns, water pits, tyre traps and small hills, a perfect blend of challenging turns and beginner friendly obstacles, but exhilarating for enthusiasts alike. Watch out for the review of the Pheonix 200 ATV and the PEZ in the December 2015 issue of Motown India.
Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., said, “We have come a long way since we opened the first Polaris Experience Zone in India. Off-roading experience is gaining traction in India and Polaris Experience Zones have contributed significantly to that culture. We are witnessing a positive trend towards adventure sports in India and with an aim to cultivate it further we have gone across India with our PEZs to bring enthusiasts closer to our vehicles which allow them to satiate their adventure drive. We foresee huge interest and growth prospects in Polaris Experience Zone and plan to introduce even more PEZs in other locations all over the country.”
Put simply, the PEZ’s are like your local Go Karting tracks where you can pay a nominal fee to drive around a few laps around their course. While Go-Karting is on tarmac, PEZs are more focused on off-road adventure sports.
Off-Road Vehicles are specially engineered to travel on tough roads and challenging conditions. They are widely used in sectors such as defense, paramilitary forces, agriculture, entertainment and tourism, among others. These vehicles are capable of providing a smooth drive even on rocky, slushy, desert and muddy surfaces.
