The three day E-Vehicle Show
& Battery Vehicle Tech Expo 2017 (BVTECH EXPO 2017) saw several e-vehicle
launches in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. The Expo witnesses a footfall of over
5000 visitors on the first day. The Expo was inaugurated by Vijay Goel,
Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports.
A number of exhibitors
launched and showcased their latest and innovative e-vehicles at the expo. DD
Auto launched a private passenger three wheeled e-vehicle named ‘E-Moto’ at the
expo. The private passenger vehicle called e-Moto seats 1 driver and 2
passengers in the comfort and safety of the enclosed cabin. DD Auto also
showcased for the first time an environment friendly 3-wheeler in the L5
category named Kaptaan having a capacity of covering 200kms in a single charge
with a maximum speed of 45kms/hr.
Tri Electric India Pvt. Ltd
launched 8, 11 & 14 wheeled Electric Campus vehicle. This zero noise and
zero pollution vehicle is an ideal transport option for big campuses,
office-complexes, hospitals, factories and tourist spots.
OK Play India Ltd. announced
its entry into the two wheeler segment with launch of 6 e-scooters and e-bikes.
The company also showcased a range of e-rickshaws, e-carts, e-loaders and
garbage collecting e-vehicles.
Many Indian companies and
those from abroad showcased e-rickshaws with attention to comfort and safety of
driver and passengers. Around 130 Indian and International companies
participated to showcase their latest and technologically advanced
pollution-free 2 wheelers, personal e-Vehicles, e-Bikes, e-Rickshaws, e-carts
and buses etc. besides parts, components and accessories at the expo.
Some of the prominent Indian
and International companies that took part in the show included Hero Electric,
DD Auto, OK Play India Ltd., Kiran Udyog, Jangid Motors, Electrica, CY Gold,
Tri Electric, YC Electric, Kuku Automotives, DMW Electric Vehicles and Ralson.
