Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd gave E-Rickshaws to BMC (Bhartiya Micro Credit)
under the Pradhan Mantri
Mudra Yojna on April
5, 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Yojna which saw a
grand parade of 1000 vehicles among which 100 were E-Rickshaws.
Sanjay Goenka, Managing Director, Goenka Electric Motor Vehicles Pvt.
Ltd . said, “We have developed a variety of e-rickshaws
and electric vehicles, all made in India, based on fiberglass body to enhance
high performance and longevity. As a part of this Pradhan Mantri Mudra
Yojna, we have given 100 of our E-Rickshaws, Prince, which is the a safe and
secure FRP technology, beautifully designed with the stronger than metal
body. The e-rickshaws will be financed by Mudra Bank and the owners will
have to pay Rs 235 per day to the bank for two years as installment. Being
the part of such a social scheme and placed on the front position on the parade
among the top brands is a proud moment for us.”

GEM’s E-Rickshaw,
Prince, has been designed to look attractive and has a good performance as well, stated a company press release. The vehicle also boasts of excellent drive
quality and has a long life. The Prince E-Rickshaw has an F.R.P body and is
more durable than steel while being stronger than metal, thereby giving the
vehicle a longer life. At the launch event 5,100 E-Rickshaws were distributed by
Bhartiya Micro Credit (BMC) under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna scheme.
