Pick up vehicle manufacturer
Isuzu Motors India Private Limited has delivered four new Isuzu D-Max vehicles
to India’s logistics giant, Gati Kausar (a cold chain arm of Gati Limited).
Takashi Miyachi, VP, Sales & Marketing handed over three D-Max Single Cab
and one Space Cab vehicles to Sanjeev Jain, Director - Finance, Gati Limited,
at the vehicle delivery ceremony held in Hyderabad.
The D-Max has been gaining
solid traction in the refeer segment, thanks to the in-built features that
extensively supports the need of the application.
Commenting at the key handover
occasion, Miyachi said, “We are extremely happy to be associated with Gati
Kausar with our D-Max range of vehicles. The product, as such is versatile and
adding the Isuzu D-Max to their existing fleet of refeer trucks will add
strength to their fleet and also support Gati Kausar’s customer commitment. We
are happy that the Indian cold-chain logistics segment is realising the Isuzu
D-Max’s superior potential in fulfilling their commitment to their customers.”
Jain said, “We are
significantly increasing our network footprint in India. As we consolidate our
fleet, we are also looking at introducing modern and premium Pick-Up trucks
into the fleet for enhanced productivity. Isuzu D-Max fulfils the need for
higher productivity with enhanced reliability and features that make it ready
for adaption to the needs of the Cold Chain industry.”
The Isuzu D-Max is powered by
a muscular 2499cc, 4-cylinder intercooled turbocharged diesel engine, mated to
an efficient 5-speed manual transmission. It has a heavy-duty chassis, a large
cargo bed to accommodate a refrigerated container and its body structure is
made from high-tensile steel.
