Omega Seiki Mobility has announced the opening of a new integrated manufacturing facility at Faridabad, Haryana.
This is the third facility of the company in the state. With an investment of USD 10 Million (Rs 75 core) initially the unit will have production capacity of 15000 electric three wheelers per annum and the company will ramp up the manufacturing capacity to 50000 units in the next three years by investing another USD 20 Million (Rs 150 Cr.). OSM will be manufacturing its cargo electric vehicle range: Rage+, Rage+ Rapid, Rage+ Frost and Rage+ Swap and electric passenger vehicle stream at the Faridabad Facility.
This new hub aligns with Omega Seiki Mobility’s strong belief in an all-electric future and is based on its Future of Mobility vision of producing green, genuine and ground breaking vehicles. Omega Seiki Mobility is the leader of EV technology in India, and is gearing up to realise this vision with its new, futuristic EV vehicles and solutions. Omega Seiki Mobility is the only company to offer fast, swap, fixed options with its vehicles and OSM is gearing up to introduce retrofit vehicles in India.

The new facility, located in Faridabad, Haryana is set to revolutionise the way electric vehicle technology would be used in India. This is the third facility in Faridabad, the first and second facility is located at Industrial Model Township (IMT) at Faridabad. The first facility manufactures electric cargo vehicle ranges with a production capacity of 7200 vehicles per annum and also, is the OSM India R&D centre. The second manufacturing facility at IMT, Faridabad produces electric two wheelers with an annual capacity of 12000 vehicles per annum.
“We have invested USD 50 million in all the three facilities in Faridabad till now and recently inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Pune for producing electric cargo and passenger vehicles. Also, we are receiving a good feedback on our electric passenger vehicle, we will be soon launching another facility in Chennai which will only cater to OSM electric passenger vehicles” added Narang
