Aston Martin Vanquish launched in India at Rs 8.85 crore
Except for tractors, commercial vehicles comprising of 3 wheelers, trucks and buses showed a downward trend in retail sales in May 2022 as compared to month of May 2019, the year without the pandemic. This was according to the data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).

In the trucks and buses segment, it was Tata motors leading the race with 27,535 units followed by Mahindra with 14,739 units and Ashok Leyland coming in third with 10,391 units.

In the tractor segment, Mahindra & Mahindra was the clear leader with 11,960 units in May 2022, and another 8789 units by Swaraj division of Mahindra & Mahindra. TAFE and International Tractors Ltd (Sonalika) recorded retails sales of 6821 units and 6111 units in May 2022.

Interestingly in third position is an electric three wheeler maker by the name of YC Electric Vehicle. This is a partnership owned company that came into being in 2014and is located in Khyala, New Delhi. The company manufactures a comprehensive range of Battery E Rickshaw, Electric E Rickshaw, Deluxe E Rickshaw, E Rickshaw Loader and Operated E Rickshaw.
