Continuing the momentum to ensure the mass market shift
to EVs through its platform, powered by smart battery swapping, Mooving
recently announced its partnership with Shadowfax. Now, rider partners can easily subscribe to EVs owing to
this partnership with a seamless experience through the Shadowfax Super App.
With the battery
swapping model, EV consumers will now have the option to replace their depleted
batteries with freshly charged ones at Mooving Battery Swap Stations. For the
past one year, Mooving has collaborated with Shadowfax in Bangalore and Delhi
NCR to provide vehicles for their last mile delivery riders under the vehicle
as a service (VAAS) Model, which is powered by Swapping, as the key element. By
2024, Shadowfax Technologies aims to move 75% of its fleet to electric
vehicles. They further plan for a transition to a hundred percent electric
movement by 2026.
"In Mooving, we
have a sincere and long-term partner who has engaged with our team diligently
to find practical solutions to increase EV adoption for our rider partners.
Their focus on ensuring maximum daily earnings for the riders has further given
us the confidence to expand with them on the back of a robust product and
network they have built. With this partnership we hope to Fast Track our EV
adoption goals'', stated Praharsh Chandra, Co-founder of Shadowfax.
As part of their joint
objective, Mooving and Shadowfax have partnered to support the adoption of EVs by 10,000 of its rider partners utilising the VAAS Model, powered
by battery swapping in 8 metro cities. This will be deployed over the next 12
to 15 months. Further, using Heat Maps data, Shadowfax and Mooving will be
designing EV deployment and swap station deployment for maximum uptime and
worry-free Rider Partner Experience.
Additionally, on its platform by the end of FY24, Mooving
hopes to deploy 50,000 E2W powered by a smart battery swapping network to
provide consumers with the freedom to travel as far as they wish without having
to stop for recharging. Mooving is aiming at a well-positioned setting to
dominate battery swapping and is further investing in R&D for the next
version of smart batteries and its complete EV Product Stack.
Commenting on the recent developments within Mooving and
the partnership with Shadowfax, Tanvir Singh, Co-Founder, Mooving said,
"We have spent a long time working closely with the end users in
understanding their needs and refining our value proposition and EV Product
Stack. Our partnership with Shadowfax opens us to a rapid expansion of our
Platform and Battery Swapping network across metros.”
Shadowfax supports clients in more than 900 locations and
8000 pin codes, including many startups and e-commerce behemoths, to ensure
quick deliveries. Mooving through the shared experience of its partners along
with Shadowfax is all set to bring a revolution in the EV industry.
