Hyundai Motor India Ltd has launched the all new 6th Generation Elantra in a price range of Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 19.19 lakh. The sedan will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options and will be available with an option of either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine is a Nu 2.0 MPi (1999cc) which produces 150hp@6200rpm and a peak torque of 192Nm@4,000rpm. The diesel engine is 1.6 VGT CRDi (1582cc) which produces 126hp@4,000rpm and a peak torque of 260Nm@1900-2750rpm. The petrol model has a fuel efficiency of 22.54 Kmpl while the diesel has 18.23 Kmpl
