At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche has unveiled their latest Mission E concept and the new generation of the 911.
The Mission E concept is the companies first ever 4 door, 4 seater electric powered car. Porsche has said that the Mission E will have 600+bhp and do 0-100kmph in 3.5 seconds and to 200kmph in under 12 seconds with an All Wheel Drive system with torque vectoring. On the charging of the batteries, Porsche has developed the “Porsche Turbo Charging“ system that they say can charge up to 80pc in 15 minutes of charging and will have a total range of 500kms.
Porsche also made the global debut of the new generation of the iconic 911. With the latest generation, Porsche has decided to sdo away with the standard naturally aspirated engines and only offer with a turbo charged engine and both the Carrera and the Carrera S, now produce 20bhp more than the old model and 60Nm increase in torque for both cars. The Carrera and the Carrera S both are available as convertible soft tops as well.
