Luxury car maker Audi India
has introduced the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium sedan with enhanced features,
thereby making it more appealing. The car is equipped with new features spread
across interiors, exteriors and the infotainment systems. The new Audi A3 40
TFSI Premium sedan is priced at Rs 25,50,000 onwards ex-showroom Mumbai and
Delhi
The car now comes with 40.64
cm cast aluminum alloy with 15-Spoke ‘’Y’’ design wheels. The car gets
electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, in addition to the Halogen lamps and
Light/ Rain Sensor. The High Gloss Package is also available on the model now.
Step inside the vehicle and
you get to see multifunctional leather steering wheel in four-spoke design, new
ambient transparent inlays in 3D look, floor mats at front and rear and Regatta
Leatherette - Fabric upholstery. The new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium also gets
lighting package plus, electronically adjustable driver seat and a chrome
package.
The infotainment systems
comprises music interface, Bluetooth interface, Passive Speakers and MMI Radio.
The Audi music interface integrates portable media players into the Audi
Multimedia Interface (MMI) allowing customers to select artists, albums, tracks
or genres with the MMI controls. The system is capable of communicating with a
wide range of portable media players and USB storage media. Bluetooth interface allows interaction with
suitably equipped mobile telephones and media players.
The car features a rear
parking aid, deluxe automatic two-zone air conditioning with sun sensor and
rear AC vents, rough ride suspension, cruise control, auto release function and
driver information system which comes with efficiency program that provides the
driver with fuel saving tips.
For the safety of its
passengers there are seven airbags, anti-slip regulation, electronic
stabilisation control and anti-theft
wheel bolts.
The customers can choose
between the option of black, chestnut brown and pashmina beige for interior
upholstery in the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium.
The Audi A3 40 TFSI Sedan is
powered by S tronic dual-clutch transmission, a technology that was originally
developed for the Le Mans 24-hours endurance race to deliver more power, torque
and enhanced fuel efficiency. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.3 seconds
in the 40 TFSI.

180 hp power and fuel efficiency of 16.6 kmpl. The Audi A3 Cabriolet - India’s
largest selling Cabriolet is a petrol car. We are surprised with the demand for
the A3 Cabriolet (which is available only in petrol). Having already exhausted
the yearly allocation we have requested for higher allocation and expect the
new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium to follow this trend,” added King.
