Ford Figo Aspire launched for a starting price of Rs. 4.89 lakh

The interior of the car features leather seats with adjustable headrests, ample of legroom, 20 storage spaces, automatic climate control system and steering mounted controls.  The 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol engine produces 86.8bhp and returns 18.2km to a litre. The 1.5-litre TDCi diesel mill produces 98.6bhp and has a fuel economy of 25.8kmpl. The 1.2L petrol and the 1.5L diesel are available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Ford is also offering the Figo Aspire with a 1.5L petrol motor which is available with a 6-speed automatic box. The 1.5L petrol produces 110.5bhp and returns 17.2kms to a litre. The Figo Aspire is available in 7 colours - Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey. 

Nigel Harris, president and managing director, Ford India, said “the Figo Aspire breaks all stereotypes and proves that a compact sedan can also have the best of everything – be it stunning design, smart technology, advanced safety and impressive fuel efficiency.” The Figo Aspire will be built in Sanand, Gujarat at Ford’s newest manufacturing facility. The compact sedan also features driver and passenger airbags as standard which is an industry first. The car will also be available with six airbags – including side and curtain airbags.
