Volkswagen launches the all new Vento for Rs. 7.85 lakh

Volkswagen prioritises the safety of its customers and is now offering the new Vento with dual front air-bags as standard. The Comfortline and Highline variants of the sedan are also fitted with ABS and ESP & Hill-hold functions in the DSG variants. The 1.5 litre TDI turbo-diesel motor produces 103.6bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency figures for the diesel motor stand at 21.5km to the litre. The 1.2 litre petrol TSI motor produces 103.6bhp of power and 175Nm of torque with a fuel efficiency of 18.19kmpl while the 1.6 litre petrol MPI motor also generates 103.6bhp of power and a reduced torque of 152Nm with a fuel efficiency of 16.09kmpl.    

The new Vento will also feature electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators and more powerful front fog lamps with integrated cornering lights. The new Vento features a new front grille, alloy wheels and chrome lining on the boot lid, exhaust tip and door handles. Volkswagen is also offering the new Vento with a cruise control function, cooled glove box and new interior colours -- Walnut desert beige (Highline variant) and Cloud Titanschwarz (Trendline and Comfortline variants). Volkswagen Financial Services have facilitated purchase of the new Vento at an interest rate of 9.99pc per annum as a limited period offer. The car will be available in -- Titanium Beige, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Toffee Brown, Night Blue and Reflex Silver.
