Polaris India Pvt Ltd. has displayed the all-new Ranger RZR SW and Sportsman MV 850, at the Defence Expo 2012. The vehicles provide the military, security forces, law enforcement and other government agencies unmatched off-road mobility in the most challenging terrains. This capability is well-suited for missions in India and Asia in general and have proven results with vehicles deployed across the region. Highlights of the two products featured at the Defence Expo 2012 include: 1) Ranger RZR SW is the ultimate 2-passenger LTATV with features suited specifically for tactical operations. It has an 800 cc high output twin 4-stroke petrol engine which delivers a top speed of 109 kmph. It has 1000 Lbs (454 kg) of payload capacity and possesses 4-wheel independent suspension with 12”/30 cm of travel and is black out drive and IR capable. 2) Polaris MV 850 is the next generation of militarized ATVs. The MV 850 comes perfectly equipped for today's demanding operations with 850cc / 77hp 4-stroke SOHC Twin Cylinder Petrol Engine with a fuel capacity of 44.5 ltrs and a towing capacity of 680.4 kg. It comes with electronic power steering and Polaris front and rear metal racks.
