Klaus Zellmer, Skoda Auto CEO, says: “What a feeling! Skoda's popular RS models ignite customer passion by delivering exhilarating performance. They have become icons of driving by blending thrilling sportiness, everyday practicality, and accessibility with a strong emotional appeal. From the pioneering Octavia RS, we've expanded into a diverse lineup of highly coveted models. The Kodiaq RS brought the RS excitement to SUVs, and with the Enyaq RS and Enyaq RS Coupé, we've seamlessly transitioned that spirit into the electric age. Now, the new RS versions of the next-generation Kodiaq and revamped Octavia are further elevating their driving dynamics to captivate and excite even more enthusiasts across the globe.”
More powerful than ever, with comprehensive standard equipment
The RS variants of the all-new Skoda Kodiaq and the refreshed Skoda Octavia are once again sporty range-toppers. They come with a new 2.0 TSI delivering 195 kW (265 hp), making them more powerful than ever. Furthermore, they both offer extensive standard equipment, such as cutting-edge LED matrix beam headlights, LED rear lights with animated turn indicators and the KESSY Advanced system. In addition to numerous body details finished in glossy black, the RS models now feature an even more distinctive exterior design, thanks to aerodynamically optimised elements such as spoilers and diffusers on the redesigned front and rear bumpers as well as visible exhaust tips.
The models’ already low drag coefficient has been further reduced by large RS-exclusive, aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels. With diameters up to 19 inches on the Octavia and 20 inches on the Kodiaq as well as red-painted brake calipers they instantly point to the models’ sporty capabilities. Included as standard, variable-ratio progressive steering for both RS models and a lowered sports suspension for the Octavia RS enable outstanding driving characteristics. In the interior, Design Selections feature predominantly black seats, door panelling with red contrasting stitching and a black headlining, while the infotainment system and Virtual Cockpit come with adapted graphics. The RS-specific, specially developed ergonomic front sports seats feature integrated head restraints.
