All-new 4th gen Hyundai Tucson unveiled

It has a “Z” shaped side character lines that exude a sporty appeal and comes with angular wheel arches, broad side cladding and 235/60 R18 (D= 462 mm) diamond cut alloy. The roof rails and eye-catching satin chrome DLO moulding enhance the SUV appeal of the all-new Hyundai Tucson. It also has connecting LED tail lamps, three-dimensional logo garnish that is applied below the rear glass, parametric pattern bumper, concealed rear wiper with washer(1st in Segment), rear spoiler with LED high mount stop lamp and shark fin antenna. 

With a low turning radius of 5.9 m, the vehicles dimensions stand at (Length X Width X Height-4630 mm X 1865 mm X 1665 mm) with a wheelbase of 2755 mm

INTERIOR DESIGN

The new interior design of the new Hyundai Tucson features premium black and light grey dual tone interiors with silver accents on crashpad and doors along with soft touch materials.

The cabin features a luxurious steering wheel with a new 4-spoke design. The steering wheel offers a better grip and has been ergonomically designed to facilitate superior drive convenience. It has soft touch door panels and leatherette seats with signature metal inserts. Customers get a choice of 64 color ambient lighting. The Tucson has piano black centre fascia.

It features a 10.25" floating type digital cluster. The digital cluster displays - personalised themes, turn-by-turn navigation, front and rear parking sensor display, drive mode select (Normal/ Eco/ Sport/ Smart) and multi terrain modes (Snow/Mud/Sand). 

With the 1st in segment multi air mode that draws inspiration from aircrafts, the technology activates gentle airflow from multiple vents thereby offering a superior level of comfort and control. The new Hyundai Tucson also offers Dual Zone FATC (Fully Automatic Temperature Control) with auto defogger, The vehicle also offers front ventilated and heated seats. The feature can also be controlled through voice commands.

PERFORMANCE

The new Tucson is powered by new Nu 2.0 petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a new R 2.0 Diesel engine with an 8-Speed automatic transmission. 

The front suspension incorporates a McPherson Strut while the rear suspension employs a Multi-Link with Coil Spring. The Tucson features HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system along with Multi Terrain Modes (Snow/Mud/Sand) that enables safe driving on challenging terrains while making it an overall fun-to-drive experience. The AWD ECU identifies traction conditions and driving state to control torque delivery with precision to the AWD coupling clutch that further distributes drive power to the front and rear wheel as per requirements.
