Lamborghini India celebrated the prowess of Huracán STO at the Buddh International Circuit race track at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The Huracán STO, a road-legal super sports car developed with the know-how of Lamborghini’s Motorsport team Squadra Corse, was driven where it feels most at home - on the racetrack! The local price of the Lamborghini Huracán STO starts from Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom) pan India.
After a successful multicity launch in India earlier this year, the brand organised the experiential drive on the race track, making it a very first dynamic sighting of the V10 ‘Super Trofeo Omologata’ in India. The Huracán STO combines the Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s Super Trofeo and GT3 prowess to create a one-of-a-kind road car born from the track.
With its 640 HP naturally-aspirated V10 engine generating 565 Nm at 6,500 rpm, the rear-wheel drive Huracán STO delivers exhilarating acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h. Its heart beats with the emotion of a racing car. Superior aerodynamic efficiency, extensive use of lightweight materials, unfettered steering and first-class braking performance enable the Huracán STO to offer the emotion of a track experience to every road drive.
Sharad Agarwal, Head, Lamborghini India noted that, “There is a growing segment of consumers who appreciate and seek the thrill of owning and driving a super sports car as part of their everyday life. Increasingly people are also taking their supercars to race tracks in Delhi and Chennai to enjoy the racing expertise of these cars. The Track Day event by Lamborghini India is an initiative that has been designed to provide auto enthusiasts in India the quintessential Lamborghini driving and, in this case, racing experience”.
