All new BMW X6 sports activity coupe launched at Rs 95 lakh

The vehicle is powered by a three-litre inline six-cylinder petrol engine which produces an output of 340 hp and a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1,500 – 5,000 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km/hr in 5.5 seconds, and can attain a top speed of 250 km/h. The engine is mated to an eight speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The steering wheel paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function as standard and launch control function offers even greater driving pleasure. The latest generation of the BMW xDrive system splits drive torque between the front and the rear wheels variably and as the situation demands with even greater precision and speed. The intelligent all-wheel drive maximises traction, agility and directional stability.

For the first time, the new BMW X6 offers customisable options to customers. A range of optional features include BMW Laser Light, BMW Head-Up Display, Comfort Access, Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge, Crafted Clarity Glass Application, and Ambient Air Package. Customers can also opt for a Rear Seat Entertainment Professional and Harman Kardon Surround Sound System. Additional equipment such as 21-inch light alloy wheels, distinct paint jobs and trim options are also available.

The xLine variant of the new BMW X6 highlights the robustness of the new Sports Activity Coupe and the extrovert character enhancing the car’s off-road looks. M Sport brings a strikingly dynamic design angle offering a commanding presence and distinguishing itself as an elite sports model.

The all-new BMW X6 is available in Riverside Blue Metallic, Carbon Black, Manhattan Metallic, Artic Grey, Mineral White, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect, Black Sapphire and Alpine White. Optional paintwork includes Tanzanite Blue Metallic and BMW Individual Ametrine Metallic.

The upholstery is available in Leather ‘Vernasca’ Design Perforated in the combinations of Cognac | Black, Tacora Red | Black, Ivory White | Black, Black | Black, Coffee | Black and Canberra Beige | Mokka.

By the help of the recently introduced ‘BMW Contactless Experience’, customers have the option of selecting, customising and booking the all-new BMW X6 from the comfort of their home.

The 20” light alloy wheels fit in seamlessly with the design, as does the distinctive front apron, enlarged air inlets and side sills with additional character line. The significantly larger BMW Kidney Grille makes for a powerful appearance. The iconic glow of the optional Illuminated Kidney Grille is the first-ever for BMW. The twin LED headlights come as standard and extend up to the BMW Kidney Grille and emphasise the presence and width of the car. The optional BMW Laserlight offers selective beam and non dazzling high beam function with a range of around 500 meters. Compared to its predecessor, the all-new BMW X6 has grown in terms of length (26 mm), width (15mm) and wheelbase (42mm). At the same time, overall height has been reduced (6 mm) creating dynamic elongated proportions combined with a powerful personality. The air breather in body colour combine with striking wheel arches to underline the exterior’s dynamic look. The rear of the all-new BMW X6 has an extremely athletic silhouette with powerful shoulders and is further accentuated by wide L-shaped LED rear lights. The automatic operation of tailgate further adds to the convenience quotient.

The interior of the all-new BMW X6 is designed to create an exclusive and dynamic driving experience. The new model comes equipped with Temperature Controlled Cup holders (heated and cooled) and offers Wireless Charging as standard. While the xLine variant gets and xLine Package including Sports Seats, Sport Leather Steering Wheel, Adaptive 2-axle Air Suspension and 20-inch light alloy wheels V-spoke style, the M Sport variant with the M Sport Package gets M Leather Steering Wheel along-with the

Sports Seats. It also comes equipped with M Sport Brakes, M Sport exhaust system, Adaptive M Suspension, M aerodynamics package and 20-inch M light alloy wheels Starspoke style in the standard profile. Interior trim strips in M Carbon Fiber is optionally available with the M Sport.

Despite its coupe character, the all-new BMW X6 offers 580 litres of storage space. Depending on various requirements, the three sections of the backrest can be folded in 40:20:40 split and offers 1,530 litres of luggage space when rear seats are folded, making the vehicle suitable for all kinds of journeys.

Features such as Auto Start-Stop, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Electronic Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution and Driving Experience Control systems enables drivers to choose between different driving modes (ECO PRO, Comfort, Sport, Sport+) to suit diverse driving conditions. Safety technologies include six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Electric parking brake with auto hold, Hill Descent Control (HDC), side impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel.
