BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, M8 Coupe launched in India at Rs 1.30 crore onward

Both models are available to order at all BMW dealerships.  The cars are available as completely-built-up units in BS VI petrol variants. The ex-showroom price of the BMW 840i Gran Coupe is Rs 1,29,90,000. The BMW 840i Gran Coupe ‘M Sport’ Edition is priced at Rs 1,55,00,000 while the BMW M8 Coupe is priced at Rs 2,15,00,000.

The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe is powered by a 3-litre, 6-cylinder in-line BS VI petrol engine. The three-litre six-cylinder in-line petrol engine of the BMW 840i Gran Coupe produces an output of 340 hp and maximum torque of 500 Nm at 1,600 – 4,500 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 5.2 seconds. The engine is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission

The BMW M8 Coupe is powered by the M TwinPower Turbo 4-litre 8-cylinder petrol engine which is amongst the most powerful V8 engine ever developed by BMW M GmbH for a production vehicle. The BS VI petrol engine is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. With two highly dynamic turbochargers, high-pressure direct injection, Valvetronic and a proven cooling concept, the engine produces an output of 600 hp and maximum torque of 750 Nm at 1,800 – 5,600 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 3.3 seconds.

BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe

The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe with its dynamic silhouette comes with four frameless doors, long wheelbase and a coupe-style roofline. It has a sporty interior, driver-focused cockpit, roomy cabin and a sports car ambience. The large two-part panorama glass roof extends seamlessly into the rear.
