Mercedes-Benz India has launched the CLS 350 Model Year
2014 edition for an introductory price of Rs 89.9 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
The luxury car is powered by a 3498cc, V6 Petrol engine that
delivers 370Nm torque. It zips from 0 to 100kmph in a mere 6.1 seconds and has
a top speed at 250 kmph (electronically limited).
The New CLS 350 with its new diamond silver colour sports
a new 18 inch alloy wheel with 15 spoke design. The sporty aura is a
combination of the prevailing shoulder line that develops from the heavily
contoured wheel arches and wide LED tail lights drawn well into the sides
sweeping around the rear end.
The interior is plush and spacious, with an exquisite
three dimensional display instrument cluster. The multi-function steering wheel
is fused with the gear shift paddles. The ambient lights are in neutral, solar
and polar. It also has a sliding sunroof.
The Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system has been
custom-tuned for the interior of the CLS 350. The 610-watt Dolby Digital 5.1
system comprises 14 high-performance speakers, including a subwoofer, and a
9-channel DSP amplifier.
The car is equipped with airmatic suspension. The ride
height control is a feature of the airmatic that enables increased ground
clearance, on rough roads or difficult upward slopes as well.
The CLS-Class comes with ‘Active Park Assist’ enabling
the driver with information for the most suitable parking space, the technology
is additionally equipped to help with active steering intervention, creating a
more reliable mechanism for better driving comfort and effortless parking.
Providing to this comprehensive security feature are audio and visual warnings
aided by sensors in the front and rear bumpers.
