The
Suzuki Jimny is considered as the world’s toughest compact off-roader. Maruti
Suzuki India Limited showcased the fourth generation Japan model of Suzuki
Jimny at the Auto Expo 2020. The all-terrain vehicle has a
legacy of over 50 years.

Jimny vehicle has been showcased at Auto Expo to assess response of the Indian
consumers to the product.
Designed
for customers who demand a stylish vehicle with robust off-road performance,
Jimny is built on a tough and compact platform offering excellent
maneuverability. This true off-road vehicle has become Suzuki’s flagship model
across 194 countries and regions.
Sporting a rectangular body shape, the use of
a ladder frame, low range transfer gear and 3-link rigid axle suspension helps
boost performance while ensuring good ride comfort. Interiors have been
thoughtfully designed, ensuring functionality in every detail. These have
further been inherited and enhanced from previous generations of the Jimny.
With
a strong 1.5L petrol engine, the Jimny has power of 87hp@ 6000 rpm and torque
of 130 Nm @4000 rpm to traverse difficult terrains. The 4WD drive enhanced with
the All Grip Pro technology, takes on all terrains with ease.
The
jimny has a length of 3550mm, a width of
1645mm, a height of 1730 and a wheelbase of 2250mm. Now it is for
