BMW has
launched the new diesel engine X3 in India with prices starting at Rs.
44.9 lakh for the Expedition variant, and Rs. 49.9Lakhs for the xLine variant.
All prices are Ex-showroom Delhi. The car was launched in Deutsche Motoren, the BMW dealership in
Noida
The new X3
will be powered by BMW’s 2.0 Litre 4cylinder TwinPower Turbo Diesel Engine,
producing 190Bhp and 400Nm of Torques. With the new 8-Speed Steptronic
Transmission, light weight construction and a more aerodynamic design the X3
has a fuel economy of 18.96Kmpl but still accelerates from 0-100kmph in 8.1
seconds with a top speed of 210Kmph. The new X3 also features Cruise control.
The new
redesigned interior is spacious and the xLine variant comes with a panoramic
roof. The interior of the X3 has the BMW signature styling with driver centric
controls on the centre console with BMW’s ConnectedDrive which includes Park
assist, Bluetooth connectivity and more infotainment features all displayed on
a 16.5 Inch screen across all variants. The centre console also allows you to
choose between Sport, Eco Pro and Comfort modes at the touch of a button to
change dynamics of the car to your preference.
On the
exterior of the X3, the Signature Kidney Grille is prominent and dominating
between the Bi-Xenon Headlamps and the Day time running lights. The X3 also
comes with Rain sensing wipers and headlight washer systems. The X3 sits on 17
Inch light weight allow Y-spoke wheels at the front and 18 inch at the rear.
The BMW X3 offers systems like airbags, BMW
restraint system, and passenger cell system with impact absorbing front a rear
bumpers and run flat tyres.
The new BMW
X3 is available for the first time in a new design scheme, the BMW xLine
equipment package which brings out the robust and dynamic Sports Activity
Vehicle (SAV) character even more prominently.
