Hyundai launches all-new Santro at Rs 3.89 lakh onward

This is a global debut and the car will be launched with a smart auto Automated Manual transmission (AMT). The K1 platform of the car ensures spacious cabin in the all new Santro and good ride and handling. The all new Santro will also have an option of a factory fitted CNG variant.

The exterior styling of the all-new Santro is defined by the company’s signature cascade grille with chrome surround along with fog lamps. It has swept back headlamps and a first-in segment micro antenna.

EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS

The all-new Santro offers dual tone beige and black interiors with champagne gold inserts. It has an elephant inspired centre fascia. The ergonomically placed audio, centrally positioned power window switches and AC controls offer easy access with minimal driver distraction. The front AC vents are inspired from propeller design. The car has a first-in segment rear AC vents. With multiple storage spaces, the all-new Santro has a trunk space of 235litres.

New age technology features include segment first 7-inch touch screen audio-video system. The multimedia system is equipped with smartphone connectivity-Android Auto, Apple Car Play , Mirror Link and video recognition function along with iblue smartphone app support.

The screen in the all-new Santro is supported with first-in segment rear parking camera display. An eco-coating technology in the car prevents unpleasant smell to develop in the AC evaporator. The car also comes with rear defogger along with rear wiper and washer.

The front suspension is mounted with McPherson strut and Urethane Bump Stopper that gives stability at rough road drives and reduces body roll giving improved cornering performance. The rear suspension uses Coupled Torsion Beam axle with vertically placed shock absorbers that minimizes shock rebound providing and comfortable and stable ride.  The car also boasts of superior NVH isolation. It is aerodynamically built with a strong structure.

The company is offering three years/1,00,000 km warranty and three years roadside assistance for the all new Santro.
