The new E 220 d consumes around 13% less fuel and is lighter by 17% than its global predecessor. The 1950 cc diesel mill produces 194hp @ 3800 rpm of power and peak torque of 400 Nm @ 1600-2800 rpm, mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission

The E 220 d was rolled-out of Mercedes-Benz India’s production facility in Chakan, Pune by Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Piyush Arora, Executive Director, Mercedes-Benz India.
