Japanese auto maker Isuzu launched their
new MU-X 7-seater SUV in India for a starting price of Rs. 23.99 lakh
(ex-showroom Delhi). The company has launched the MU-X in two variants, one is
a 4x2 while the other a 4x4. The latter has been priced at Rs. 25.99 lakh
(ex-showroom Delhi). The new 2017 Isuzu MU-X comes with a 3.0 litre diesel
engine and gets a fuel efficiency figure of 13.8 kms per litre.

2017 Isuzu MU-X Engine & Specifications
The new 2017 Isuzu MU-X is powered by a 3.0
litre, in-line, 4 cylinder, Ddi VGS Turbo Hi-Power engine which turns 174.5bhp
at 3600rpm and 380Nm from 1800-2800rpm. The engine is an intercooled one with a
variable geometry turbo charger with a variable swirl system. The new MU-X is
BS IV compliant and has been mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with
sequential shift and brake shift lock. The MU-X also comes with 4wd
functionality with a shift on fly function limited up to 100kmph for shift from
2wd high to 2wd high.

The new MU-X gets a bold and SUV like
character with a boxy design. It has mammoth proportions and will easily rival
competitors in terms of size. The bold and stylish exteriors are enhanced with
projector headlamps and LED DRLs. The fascia also sports a bold chrome twin slat
front grille with a very imposing stance. The new 2017 Isuzu MU-X gets 17 inch
diamond cut alloy wheels and a ground clearance of 220mm.
