BGAUSS B8- LI Technology, Lithium ion and
Lead acid
The
BGauss B8 is the flagship electric scooter for the company. It will have an
option of a lead acid battery and a lithium ion battery. The e-scooter boasts
of a top speed of 50km her hour. It has
a 1900 watt rated power peak and a 94.6Nm of torque. The e-scooter will come
with three riding modes. In Mode 1the range will be the highest. While the fixed
lead acid battery will offer a range of 78 km, the detachable Lithium ion battery
will have a range of 70 km. But in this mode the maximum speed is only 36kmph. In
Mode 3which is ideal for daily commutes, the e-scooter will have a top speed of
42kmph. Here the range increases to 69km for the lead acid and 65 km for the li-ion.
In the Mode 3 for high speed, the top speed increases to 50kmphbut range
decreases to 68 and 60km respectively.
The
e-scooter will have a load capacity of 150kg total for two riders. The scooter
has a telescopic front and rear suspension. It will have a water wading limit
of 120mm.
Both
the Lithium ion lead acid variants also use a 1900 watts Bosch bldc motor with
removable battery of 1.45KW. The li-ion battery takes 3 hours to charge, while
the lead acid one takes 7 to 8 hours.
B8
Lithium ion comes with Bluetooth features and B8 LI Technology includes IOT
features like navigation assist, ride metrics, remote diagnostics, SOH& SOC
, live tracking , geo fencing, full charge alerts. All variants are available
in various colour schemes such as blue, white, red and grey.
BGAUSS A2– Lead acid and Lithium ion
Both
variants include 3 riding modes – Low, Mid and High, with top speed 25 km/h and
range of 110 km.
In
terms of performance, lead acid uses a 250 watts motor with fixed battery of
60V VRLA and takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100%. Lithium ion
also uses a 250 watts motor with removable battery of 1.29KW and takes maximum
2 hours 15 minutes to charge.
