The
Trend E is available in a combination of colours including Red-Black,
Black-Red, and White-Blue. The electric scooter is powered by a lithium-ion
battery and boasts a top speed of 45 kmph. The electric scooter covers a
distance of 60 kms with single battery and 110 Km with double battery. The
charging time for the lithium-ion battery is around 2 to 4 hours.
Coming
to its features, the Trend E comes equipped with a hydraulic telescopic front
suspension and a coil spring rear suspension. It has alloy wheels, with disc
and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels, respectively. With a high ground
clearance, this scooter can take a maximum load of 150 kgs.
Customers
booking their scooters before March 31, 2019 will get the delivery of the
scooter in this current fiscal only.
The
company has built a sales network with 33 dealership across India which spans
across 11 states such as Rajasthan, Punjab, West Bengal, Manipur, Assam,
Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Odisha.
Avan
Motors India, an EV startup, was founded in 2015 So far, the company has
launched its Xero range of smart e-scooters and has plans in place for the
launch of six more scooters in 2019. It has a manufacturing plant at Hinjewadi
in Pune, spread over 22,000 sq ft. The company has 25 touch points across
India, and plans to reach 200 touch points by end of 2019.
