Harley-Davidson India has launched a new H-D India smart phone application. With World Ride 2014 just around the corner the application provides the perfect platform for Harley-Davidson owners to create and share content around their rides.The App will give the H-D bike owners a chance to create, share and plan rides, stay connected with their H.O.G. Chapters and follow events. They can also share experiences, receive up to date information about their motorcycle, access roadside assistance and information on new products from the company.The application also enables riders to search for other riders in the vicinity when they are on the move. A custom social network has been built which allows riders to follow each other’s updates.Anoop Prakash, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India noted that with the growing number of Harley-Davidson owners in the country, the bond and camaraderie shared between the riders continues to be an essential part of the H-D ownership experience.Among the features that aim to enhance user experience or the ability to plan trips and get directions for rides, to find H-D dealers, nearby riders, petrol pumps, and cafes. One can also follow fellow riders and join their ride along the way. The riders can also share photographs, rates and more with fellow Harley owners. It also allows one to set reminders for service updates, P.U.C. Certificate and insurance updates and avail of support to call Roadside Assistance Services. Of course, one can also store important information that includes Driver's License details, Motorcycle registration etc.
