There
was a tiger on the prowl recently. It was the Triumph Tiger 800 XC that tamed some
of the toughest terrains across the country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The Triumph
Tiger 800 XC is one of the most sought after and capable off road and adventure
tourer available here in India. The journey that was flagged off from
Kanyakumari was spread over three months
and was divided into five legs. The rider rode from Kanyakumari to Ooty, Ooty
to Pune, Pune to Dasada, Dasada to Delhi and finally from Delhi all the way up
to Srinagar via Leh. The ride spanning over 10,000 kilometers was a first of a
kind initiative by Triumph Motorcycles here in India.
The
Triumph Tiger 800 XC comes with a three-cylinder engine and a rugged chassis. The
engine is designed to give smooth, accessible torque. The strong steel frame
and long travel suspension are built to take on the rough with the smooth.
The
legendary British motorcycle brand, Triumph Motorcycles, entered the Indian market

Roadsters, Adventure, Cruisers and Super sports. Bikes include the iconic
