If
you are a two-wheeler user and have been riding around with your helmet on, how
often have you faced a problem pulling up the visor? Innumerable times, for
sure. At traffic lights, at petrol bunks, while cruising, riders pull up their
visor to catch a bit of fresh air and also pick up a conversation with someone
around. Flipping opening the visor with your gloves on can be a tedious
exercise. But there is help on its way with Steelbird Helmets launching Oscar
helmets. These come with a flip up option.
Steelbird Helmets has a technical collaboration with BIEFFE, the world's
number one helmet manufacturer.
The
Oscar helmet is in the price range of Rs.1179 to Rs.1519 and comes in a matte
finish and is available in all a range of colours.
The
Oscar helmet is specially designed in such a way in which the chin guard can be
flipped-up very easily from the helmet itself, turning it to an open face jet
helmet. All this with a single push button even while riding a bike.
Oscar
helmets offer chin and back ventilations, which helps air to circulate inside
the helmet making it easy for the rider, especially during hot days.
“Delhi
as a very strategic market and this segment is approximately 30pc of overall
helmet segment. With the launch of this product, customer will have more
options in Steelbird flip up segment helmets”, said Shailendra Jain, Head- Sales
& Marketing Steelbird Helmets in a press communication.
Oscar
helmets have a designer interior, single button flip-up, visor locking system
and rachet locking system of the visor to effectively absorb the impact
vibrations produced at the time of an accident and helps to avoid head
injuries. The helmet also comes with anti-theft ring and air and water tight
spectra guard. Polyester webbing is used in the chin-strip.
Another
feature of the helmet is the micro-metric buckle, which ensures a comfortable
fit. Moreover, the buckle can also be opened and locked without having to take
off the gloves.
