Suzuki
Motorcycle India has launched the new generation Hayate for Rs 44,969. The
changes in the new Hayate have focussed on attractiveness, convenience, and
smoother ride it offers. The brand ambassador for the motorcycle is Bollywood
heart throb Salman Khan.
The
new Hayate gets a new fully painted side cowl with attractive graphics. This
makes the bike look a bit imposing.
While the new Hayate retains the 4-stroke,
air-cooled, 112 cc engine, it has been fine-tuned significantly and the
carburetor settings have also undergone improvement, all of this resulting in
the Hayate offering a much smoother ride as well as improved mileage.
The
bike also comes with a maintenance free battery as well as tubeless tyres with
broader rims.
Atul
Gupta, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited,
(SMIPL) said that at Suzuki, the endeavour is to constantly improve its products
to ensure that the company continuously satisfies its customers. “The Hayate
has performed well in all markets. We are sure that the new Hayate will provide
a further impetus to our numbers,” he said.
The Hayate is a Japanese word meaning
"Fresh Breeze" or "Swift wind".
The
motorcycle with its 10.5 litre fuel tank comes with aluminum cast wheels and
front and rear drum brakes. The Hayate is available in five different colour
options.
