Justin Bieber x Vespa launched at Rs 6,45,690 in India

Both Vespa and Justin Bieber need no introduction. The latter is a chart topping and record breaking global pop sensation who burst into the scene at the age f 15 and has since been creating waves in the fields of music, production, fashion, design, among others. 

The Special Edition collaboration will feature all-white components of the existing Vespa Sprint model that were specifically personalised to create this custom, fresh look.  All the digital components of this special edition Vespa, such as the saddle, mirrors, shield edge, fender crest, headlight frames, engine cover, knobs, mat and rubber floorboard strips, wheel rims and even the Vespa logo on the vehicle have been customised to create an overreaching theme of the classic, much loved white.

This completely monochromatic look with its many white notes and tones in different materials creates a visual harmony and musicality to the overall product, with all elements tied together to result in an instant icon of design. All these monochrome details lend themselves to the stylised flame decals, present on the rear side panels and on the front shield. These too were treated with neutral but warm and enveloping tones of Vespa's classic white shade. 

Even the tyres, usually black, sport a white band on the side. No detail was spared in order to make this vehicle truly special and unforgettable. The scooter is powered by a single cylinder, 4 stroke, 3 valves, i-get engine with a 155cc displacement. The engine meets Euro 5 emissions. The engine delivers a max torque of 12.4Nm@6750rpm and gives a fuel efficiency of 37km to a litre of petrol. It has a electronic injection as part of its fuel system and comes with an electric starter. 

The gearbox comprises CVT or continuously variable transmission with torque server. It has an automatic centrifugal dry clutch with vibration dampers.  The front suspension comprises single sided link arm with coil spring and hydraulic monoshock absorber. The rear suspension comprises coil spring with preload adjustable to four positions and hydraulic monoshock absorber. The front brake is a 200mm stainless steel disc with hydraulic control while the rear brake is a 140mm drum mechanically operated. It has ABS only on the front wheel.

It gets 12 inches tubeless tyres with the front being 110/70 and the rear 120/70. The scooter has a length of 1870mm, a width of 735mm and a wheelbase of 1340mm. The seat height is 790 mm and the fuel tank capacity is 8 litres.
