For the first time Piaggio Vehicles India is participating in the India Bike Week (IBW) 2015 in Goa.
The Piaggio Group is showcasing its portfolio range of two wheelers which includes the iconic Vespa and its distinguished super bike range of Aprilia and MotoGuzzi. The range would be a sure visual treat of Italian style, design and technology.
The showcase would include:
Vespa: A global icon in aspirational lifestyle and as the European best-selling two-wheeler, Vespa has steadily created a niche ‘premium’ category in scooters with its India entry in April 2012. Celebrating the same Vespa fans would be riding to the festival on their bright colored Vespa’s. Exclusive Vespa parade of Vespa fans on their bright Vespa will be held during the festival. An exclusive parking space for these fans has been made next to the festival's renowned entry point only for these Vespa loyalists.
Creating the popular Vespa culture at India Bike Week, Vespa will present the “Art inspires Art” concept unveiling selective art pieces truly inspired by Vespa specially created by artists from across India. Live painting showcasing the inspiration would be held in the festival.
Vespa would invite its fan to experience the festival along with the sun and sand of Goa through various activities like the Vespa Beach Crawl, where fans can ride across the beaches on their Vespa’. The Vespa Beach Crawl will witness riders join the Vespa bandwagon from across different beaches of Goa, revelling in Vespa community rides.
Super Bikes: The Piaggio Group brand portfolio includes some of the most distinguished, historic and iconic names in the motorcycling world.
Aprilia is acknowledged globally as the most technologically advanced name in motorcycles and motorsport. Moto Guzzi (founded in 1921) is one of the oldest and most distinguished motorcycle brands in the world, an aristocrat among motorbikes. The Moto Guzzi brand also boasts an impressive track-record in competitive racing. MotoGuzzi would be showcasing The California 1400 Touring LE which redefines the luxury bike concept, and marks a turning point in Moto Guzzi history with its innovation and style. MotoGuzzi range would also have its latest range V7 Stone and V7 Racer and the Griso SE showcased only for the festival.
