LML, a several decades old two-wheeler brand that was recently bought over by Yogesh Bhatia controlled SG Corporate Mobility Pvt Ltd from Kanpur based Singhania family, unveiled three concept two wheelers at an event in Gurugram.
The three concept two wheelers included the Orion electric bike, Moonshot electric hyperbike and Star electric scooter. The concept vehicles were unveiled at the 50th year celebrations of the LML brand. Incidentally, LML had stopped making two wheelers sometime back. Bhatia hopes to revive the LML brand in a new electric avatar and with a new name, LML Emotion.
The LML electric scooter Star, designed on the lines of a swan bird, looks quite contemporary and chic. Very youthful in its appearance with a decent sized foot board which holds the lithium ion batteries, the Star has a very smart and innovative front end with LED headlamps and an LCD screen of sorts in front. The seat too designed as a one piece in a step form with smart grab rails at the back.
The LML Moonshot is a crossover that is ideal for riding enthusiasts. It has a good mix of an electric bicycle as well as that of a motorcycle. It will have the advantage of a pedelec as well as a throttle, depending on what mode you want to choose to ride this. It comes with a portable battery, modes like Surge and City and several other modern features.
The LML Orion is an electric bicycle. The Orion name is derived from a Greek term meaning a group of stars in the sky that looks like a hunter. It gets hydroformed 6061 alloy frame to give it that light yet agile frame, tilted butterfly handlebars for added comfort in city riding posture, pedelec for more power, IP67 battery for all weather safety, highest standards of safety with smart telematics, haptic feedback lends a responsive, more engrossing ride, iInbuilt GPS with predictive route sensors and intelligent space pockets for utilities.
