Hi-Bird, part of the Safari
group of companies and a leading manufacturer and exporter of bicycles from
India has introduced its new range of bicycles in the country. The 20 new
exciting models launched by the company
in the domestic market are equipped with wide range of gear ratios,
different size tyres suited to bikers
needs, improved brakes, quality suspension for safety and comfort, etc.
R.D.Sharma, Chairman and
Managing Director, Hi-bird Bicycles said that these new trendy models have been
launched keeping pace with the fast changing trends and quality in the cycle
segment. He said these cycles are very durable and attractive with ultra modern
frames having colourful decals. These are also sturdy and light weight. The new
generation bikes have been
simultaneously launched in various countries
across six continents including
Europe and America.
The new models include
Velocity, Stalwart, Singham, Dual Shox, Thunderous, Sniper, Lifter and Relax. “Hi-Bird
is India's first and only bicycle manufacturer having obtained CE marking on
all its bicycle models being exported to Europe which is mandatory for European
countries” said Suresh Sharma, Executive Director of the company.
The company’s products are
available on online e-commerce portals including Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart.
The company has a network of about 3000 dealers across the nation. Hi-bird has an
installed manufacturing capacity of 1,50,000 bicycles per month which can be
stretched to 20 lakh bicycles per annum.
The company is also planning to
introduce high end range of bicycles including carbon fibre bikes costing more
than Rs 1 lakh in the near future .The company had recently also launched
indigenously developed e-rickshaws in
the country, informed Sharma.
