Odysse, an electric vehicle manufacturer, announced the launch of V2 and V2+ electric scootes in the country expanding its two wheeler electric range. The electrical scooters are priced between Rs 75,000 – Rs 97,500 (ex-showroom).
These scooters are equipped with dual water resistant IP 67 rated battery options, which ensures an uninterrupted driving of 150 KM/charge.
With the newly launched waterproof motor and battery, it will significantly improve the vehicles’ performance and durability as well as reduce repair and maintenance during rains. Along with access to a wide range of color selection, consumers will also get some exciting features like anti theft lock, passive battery cooling, huge boot space, 12 inch front tyre, led lights amongst many others.
In the future, the company plans to expand its production capacity further after the launch of these new vehicles. In addition to their Ahmedabad plant, they have started production facilities in Mumbai and Hyderabad as well
This year, the company will add two more products to their portfolio, bringing their product range to seven models. At the end of the year, they hope to have more than 100 dealerships under their umbrella. In addition, they are preparing their IOT, which will be released shortly. This will allow all their vehicles to be connected and enrich the overall user experience.
Apart from the two new vehicles, the Odysse stables already offer four electric two-wheelers-- E2go, Hawk+, Racer, and Evoqis. The latter competes with the popular ICE sports bikes already available in India. All of this for less than Rs 1.6 lakh on the road.
