The Breakout
The new
addition to the Softail family is the Breakout. The only bike of the three that
will be locally assembled in the Harley Davidson facility in Haryana, will be
powered by a 1,690cc air-cooled V-twin with 130Nm of torque to dig a grave with
the rear tyre for anyone who rebels against this rebel. But not many would
because of its claimed fuel economy of 13.86kmpl. With 21 inch wheel up front,
and 18 inch wheels at the back, which houses the massive 240mm wide rear tyre,
and low stance with chopped fenders, the Breakout comes with an exclusive colour
of ‘Hard Candy Quicksilver Flake” among many others.
With these
three bikes launched in India, Harley now sells a bike from every family from
its range barring the ‘Trike’ family. With 15 dealerships across the country,
and their entire range comprising of 13 motorcycles, the Street Glide Special
and the CVO limited will be imported directly from the US.
