Apart from the premium car
stalls, a large number of people gathered around the alternative fuel vehicles
spread at various stalls. Serious business discussions took place in the
commercial vehicles stall where future technologies and options to the buyers were
showcased.
The merchandise stalls also
did brisk business which sold mementoes starting from mugs to backpack, hats to
t-shirts.
Apart from the visitors, the
Motor Show saw a host of senior dignitaries who visited the Expo Mart.
The UP police and the local
authorities seamlessly managed the traffic and the crowd at the Expo ensuring
smooth and cordial experience for all visitors.
Several Bollywood superstars
like Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Katrina Kaif, John Abraham, among others were
at the show to unveil and launch new products.
The first day at Auto Expo
registered 71,000 visitors as it opened for general public. Thereafter the
crowds simply grew in proportions.
The Vintage car pavilion was
another crowd puller, with cars from the Golden era displaying their charm
enthralling one and all at the Expo. The ‘Bollywood motor’ section also caught
eye-balls as it established the connect between Bollywood and the vehicles that
have attained a cult status.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd.
(HMIL),meanwhile, announced that over 500,000 visitors to the Auto Expo 2016
have Experienced Hyundai.
Hyundai Pavilion at the Auto Expo has been one
of the stand out pavilions featuring 17 cars across 12 zones representing the
present and the future of automobiles in India. Visitors interest at the
Hyundai pavilion has been visible towards the Global SUV –Tucson and HND- 14
(CARLINO) the sub-compact SUV concept displayed at the pavilion, while Hyundai
N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo’ has been a favourite for selfie seekers.
