Nitin Gadkari’s road safety directive strikes a chord with helmet industry
The lucky and powerful few will now be chauffeured in BMW Gran Turismos when they arrive at the Delhi International Airport. All dignitaries, leading businessmen and eminent personalities transiting through the VIP Lounge will now be chauffeured in BMW vehicles, according to a press release from BMW India.
Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India along with Gaurav Bhatia, Director – Bird Automotive handed over the cars to Marcel Hungerbuehler, Chief Operating Officer – Delhi International Airport and Pradeep Panicker, Chief Commercial Officer – Delhi International Airport during a private event.
Von Sahr said, “The joy of travelling for VIP guests of the Delhi International Airport will now be complete with a luxurious BMW experience. I am sure that the welcoming sight of a BMW will be a pleasant surprise for the travellers. BMW Gran Turismos will be used for transfers between private / chartered aircrafts and the VIP Lounge.
