On February 04, 2015 Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.
(HMSI) launched their new Activa 3G for Rs. 48,852 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Alongside the Activa 3G were also three refreshed 2015 editions of the Honda
Dream Yuga, Dream Neo and the Dio Moto-Scooter. HMSI also unveiled the updated
version of the CB Shine which gets new styling and design.
Honda also announced its aggressive business strategy for the Indian
market which they consider to be a crucial part of their global strategy. Keita
Muramatsu, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.
said, “India’s contribution reached 25 pc of global Honda motorcycle sales this
year. India has been and will continue to be Honda’s priority market globally.”
The company announced the introduction of 15 new models in just one year and
has plans to invest approximately Rs. 1600 crore for 2015-16.
The new Activa 3G has new edge side panels, eye-catchy winkers,
appealing front stance, premium 3D emblem and a progressive meter along with a
very elegant yet modern tail light. The Activa 3G gives 60kms to the litre and
is powered by a 110cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine. The scooter offers
features like a comfortable seating position, ample foot space, longer and
wider seat, a patented CLIC mechanism, viscous air filter, maintenance free
battery, Combined Braking System (CBS), full metal body, tubeless tyres and key
lock shutter. Activa 3G comes in five colours – Trance blue metallic (NEW),
Lusty red metallic (NEW), Geny grey metallic, Black and Pearl amazing white.
One of Honda’s best selling motorcycle and India’s largest selling
125cc bike is the CB Shine. The CB Shine now has been offered with modern style
quotients which include new stylish graphics, graceful side panels, new trendy
visor, elegant tail light, sharp and edgy tank and trendy allow wheels. The bike
also has a new HET engine which provides class leading refinement and
economy. The new CB Shine will come with
a Combi-Breaking System (CBS) as well. The bike is available in four colours --
Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Maple Brown Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic)
starting March 2015.
The Dream Yuga 2015 and the Dream Neo 2015 models have been given a
new look as well with new attractive stickers and graphics on the front cowl,
side panel and fuel tank. The engine includes a new Honda red colored logo
adding more style to the product. The 2015 Dream Yuga will be available by the
end of February 2015 in three colours -- Black, Black with Heavy Grey Metallic and
Black with Candy Glory Red. Dream Neo will be available in Black with Violet
Stripes, Black with Red Stripes. The Honda Dio Moto-Scooter Dio has been
updated with new stickers, side panel graphics and a sporty logo. The
Moto-Scooter will be offered in four dual tone color options -- Jazzy Blue
Metallic, Sports Red, Candy Palm Green and Black by end of March 2015.
