Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd witnessed robust growth in
2014 with the successful launch of its family-oriented scooter – ‘Alpha’ as
well as all new FZ-S FI Version 2.0, Fazer FI Version 2.0, FZ FI Version 2.0
and SZ-RR Version 2.0, all of which were instrumental in boosting sales to new
levels. Domestic sales stood at 5,66,586 units in 2014, compared to 4,61,814
units in 2013, registering a 23 pc
growth over the previous year.
The Company sold 44,602 units in December 2014 as against
39,777 units sold in December 2013 in the domestic market, thereby registering
a sales growth of 12pc. This was stated in a press release issued by the
company.

consistency in overall growth and the results speak for themselves. Our
relentless efforts to rev up sales, backed by innovative marketing strategies
and an impeccable product portfolio across segments, have reaped robust
results”.
