Skoda Auto India Aurangabad Plant grabs award

Skoda Auto India, Aurangabad has won “Silver Award” in automobile sector from Greentech Foundation for its distinguished and consistent efforts in the area of Environmental Management. This award was presented in Novotel Hotel, Hyderabad at the auspicious hands of Rakesh Shrivastava, IAS Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India and Kamleshwar Sharan – President of “Greentech Foundation” on 12th December 2010. Sanjay Datta, DGM HR & C.M. Sharma, Sr. Manager Quality received the Award on behalf of Skoda Auto. Greentech foundation conducts Environmental performance competition every year across the Industries in India. This year also the Competition was conducted in which 300 Companies have participated. For preparation of this competition, efforts were taken by Sanjay Datta – DGM HR & Admin, Dr. Abhay Kulkarni – Factory Medical Officer, C.M. Sharma – Sr. Manager Quality, Yogesh Wani – Manager Safety, Fire & Security, Kailash Mohite – Asstt. Manager Safety & Security, Hemant Gayke – Fire & Safety Officer and Other plant officials. Managing Director Dr. Oliver Gruenberg & Director Commercial, Director HR & Admin Makarand Deshpande & CFO Sanjay Mundade has congratulated “SHE Team” for this noteworthy achievement.
