Jaguar Land Rover, a unit of Tata Motors, has officially opened its new dealership in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The opening of this dealership is part of Jaguar Land Rover’s continued expansion in the Indian market. The state of the art dealership will improve access to customers from West Bengal and provide premium Jaguar Land Rover standards of sales, servicing and after sales. Based in the up market AJC Bose Road, the Kolkata dealership will enable customers to access the full range of Jaguar products including the XJ (in both diesel and petrol engine variants), XF (in both diesel and petrol engine variants), XFR and the XKR Coupe and Convertible. For Land Rover, it will offer the Freelander 2, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport and the flagship Range Rover. Rohit Suri, Head, Premier Car Division, Tata Motors, said: “The Kolkata area is a key growth market for premium luxury vehicles and thus it is extremely important for our sought after Jaguar and Land Rover products to be readily available in this region. We are very pleased to be able to provide our customers with a great dealership here in Kolkata". Jaguar Land Rover opened their first Indian showroom in June 2009 and now has fully operational sales and service facilities in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The expansion plan includes dealerships in the cities of Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur and Indore by the end of this calendar year. The dealership expansion plan is being delivered to meet the growing demand for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in India.
