With India currently experiencing a navigation boom with more and more drivers starting to use navigation devices, NNG LLC announces the commencement of the company’s new operation in India in January 2012. Based in Gurgaon, Péter Bolesza, Vice President of EEU & Emerging Markets at NNG, will manage the local operation in India. Throughout 2011 the company has invested heavily in the development of a localized edition of its premium software solution iGO primo. The permanent presence in India proves the company’s commitment to providing high-end navigation software that meets all the requirements of local partners for easy-to-use and India-specific navigation. Several OEMs have recently launched their PND and aftermarket solutions in India running on the iGO primo software. Following the commencement of the operation in India, NNG’s partners will profit from direct communication and even more dedication to the localization of their iGO Navigation solutions. The new operation enables intensified research of the local road situation, and so will increase the reliability and usability of NNG products. “The commencement of a new operation in India is in direct response to the demand from our partners in India. The success of our recent product launches was behind this decision and promises rapid growth in all industries,” says Péter Bolesza, who will relocate from Hungary to India to undertake this mission. Bolesza, who joined the company in 2009, has been one of the main forces driving the company’s establishment on the Indian market. He brings extensive experience from the software industry in other emerging markets and has been acting as NNG’s VP of Emerging Markets since early 2010. “We've been preparing our India entry for a long time, including extensive product testing and development. The moment has come for us to commence our permanent presence and operation in India," says David Wiernik, President at NNG LLC. "We believe that the Indian market has great business potential. It is a market where two million new cars are sold every year and we feel there is a strong demand for iGO Navigation solutions. Our aim is to become the leading supplier of navigation software in India by serving our partners in the automotive, personal and mobile navigation industries better than any of the other players.”
