Ultraviolette, an innovator in electric vehicle platforms, battery technology and maker of the F77, India’s first high performance electric motorcycle, announced its commitment to transforming the future of automotive design in the country through focused partnerships with key design institutes and academia in the country. As part of this initiative, Ultraviolette inked its first partnership with Mantra Academy, a leading automotive design institute based out of Bangalore to foster world-class design talent in India, and catapult India’s reputation as a leader in the global automotive design space.
As a part of Ultraviolette’s initiative, the students from the Mantra Academy unveiled a superbike concept and a full scale clay model of the ‘Concept Electric Superbike - 2030’ as their final program project at the Ultraviolette Hangar in Bengaluru. The aim of the project was to drive innovation towards the future of Electric Performance and give automotive design students an opportunity to translate their learning into a real-life model and work in a fast paced, industry oriented simulation. This is in line with the program that builds core skills that enable design students to be industry ready and fast-track their careers.
