Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the 15 million customers mark in western region of India.
While HMSI took more than 17 years to add the first 10million customers in the western market which consists of three states - Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa, it garnered the last 5 million customers in just under 6 years. The company has now increased number of touchpoints, expansion of both RedWing and BigWing product portfolio, reliable customer service and enhanced customer connect.

Catering to rising personal mobility needs of customers, HMSI continues to lead scooterization in these states with a strong 49% market share. Honda Activa is the no. 1 selling model in the region. The company commands an overall market share of 36.4% in the two-wheeler market in the western region (including both scooters and motorcycles). Also, as customers are now becoming tech-savvy and enquire online for bookings and purchase of the vehicles, HMSI has ramped up its digital marketing efforts to meet customer aspirations while ensuring enhanced experience across its dealerships at the same time.
